Vehicle maintenance:

As a Delivery Crew Member, you are responsible for maintaining the delivery vehicle and ensuring that it is in good working order. This may include regular oil changes, tire rotations, and other maintenance tasks

• Operate all equipment.
• Relocate the stock ingredients received from the delivery area to their rightful spots in the storage, work, and cooler spaces.
• Prepare product.
• Receive telephone orders and ensure that they are handled in a prompt and professional manner.
• Carry out a physical count of available goods and finalize the associated paperwork.
• Daily cleaning of the equipment and facility is necessary.
• There is a system in place to train and introduce newly recruited employees.
• Communication Skills
• The aptitude to interpret and correctly implement written guidelines.
• The capacity to utilize oral communication to efficiently handle orders from customers and associates, whether it is done in person or through the phone.

Essential Functions/Skills:

• Being able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with ease and confidence can streamline many tasks that involve numerical data, such as financial analysis, budgeting, and statistical analysis.
• The job requires the applicant to be proficient in performing currency calculations, and returning the correct change to the customers. Additionally, he/she must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities to acquire and process orders.
• Rapidly and accurately controlling fine movements through the coordination of eyes and hands/fingers.
• It is possible to input requests through a keyboard or touchscreen interface.

Space Constraints:

Workers often have to operate in confined spaces such as a walk-in cooler, which brings its own health and safety risks.

Sensing:

• Communicating verbally and receiving auditory input via telephone.
• It is important to have good near and intermediate vision for most activities that take place inside a store.

• Most activities require individuals to be on their feet.
• Engaging in short walks for brief intervals.
• When it comes to work surfaces in food processing, the typical height ranges from 36 to 48 inches.
• The usual protocol when it comes to paperwork is to complete it while posted up at a desk or table in an office space.
• The team handles bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and this occurs twice a week or more.
• Upon delivery, the items that may be received could comprise of containers containing materials and supplies that are up to 50 pounds in weight and 3 feet by 1.5 feet in size.
• The common practice is to lift the cases and place them onto shelves going up to 72 inches high.
• Large cans, weighing in at 3 lbs and 7 oz, require transport from the workstation to the shelves designated for storage.
• Pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is transported every so often from the storage room to the front of the store.
• The weight of pizza dough trays is approximately 12 pounds per tray as they are carried in sets of three for short distances.
• The successful relocation of trays on dollies depends on applying effective force, with up to 7.5 pounds required to move a stack of 24-30 trays.
• One can take out the trays if required.
• Sometimes, team members must ascend stairs or utilize a ladder to alter signs, wash walls, or complete upkeep tasks.
