Restaurant General Manager

Job Description:

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for monitoring the financial performance of the restaurant and making decisions on how to enhance profitability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• The person interested in applying must meet the requirement of being a minimum of 18 years old
• Candidates with a High School Diploma or equivalent GED are invited to apply.
• The ideal candidate must have managed a restaurant for a period of one to two years before
• Adept in analyzing P&L statements to identify trends, costs, and areas for improvement
• The ability to prioritize personal and team tasks facilitates meeting set objectives and deadlines
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to anticipate guest needs
• Being available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is an essential aspect of this job
• The restaurant calls for workers who can commit to extensive or unpredictable hours to maintain steady business operations

Responsibilities:

• PROFITABILITY
• Holds the primary accountability for the restaurant's P&L and adopts proactive measures to ensure the desired financial results
• Pinpoints areas of potential profit improvement by analyzing key P&L metrics in detail
• This company drives sales through a combination of proactive guest service, staff development, and effective operations management

GUEST

• Galvanizes and mentors team members towards exceeding guest demands by delivering precise, genial, and rapid service in a neat and sanitized environment
• Managing the guest experience through effective operations and swift response to guest issues is crucial for ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction in the hotel industry
• Guest feedback analysis systems play a crucial role in identifying the underlying root causes of problems that hinder business success, and recommend effective solutions to address these issues
• Implements marketing campaigns that align with community values to drive engagement and bookings

PEOPLE

• Imparts leadership in the restaurant to spearhead the recruitment and selection of a highly skilled and innovative team
• Offers support to new team members as they undergo the certification process by providing training and guidance
• Boosts morale among the restaurant crew by adeptly overseeing recognition programs for both individuals and teams
• Promote professional growth and development of the team members, shift coordinators, and assistant managers, resulting in increased restaurant performance, by providing coaching and feedback

OPERATIONS:

• Ensures that restaurant labor is managed effectively through the use of strategic Manager staffing and Team Member scheduling
• Ensures conformity with regulations set by the government, employment laws, and internal policies of BKC
• Implements and enforces operational and branding standards to ensure high-quality service and consistency at the restaurant
• Acts as Assistant Manager and Hourly Shift Coordinator when called upon
